The JCQ-10 type arrester monitor is a device connected in series below the arrester to detect leakage current and record the number of arrester operations. It is used for zinc oxide arresters with a voltage rating of 500 kV and below. The environmental conditions for its use are the same as those of the connected arrester. The characteristics of the arrester monitor include electromagnetic counting, current pointer indication, and vibration resistance.

Structure and Performance
The monitor is mainly composed of components such as varistors, rectifiers, capacitors, resistors, inductors, trigger circuits, protectors, counting circuits, electromagnetic counters, magnetoelectric pointer meters, current measurement and conversion circuits, components, and the housing. Under normal operating conditions, the leakage current of the arrester is directly displayed by the magnetoelectric pointer meter. The pointer range is divided into two gears, 0 - 5mA and 0 - 2mA, with automatic gear shifting and a light indication. The indication range is also divided into two gears, 0 - 5mA and 0 - 2mA, with automatic gear shifting and a light indication. When in the 0 - 10mA gear, the light - emitting diode is on. When the arrester I operates, the electromagnetic counter accumulates the count. After the display reaches scale full, it automatically returns to zero and continues to accumulate the count, working in an infinite loop without resetting!
