The LW□-252/4000-50 self-energized AC high-voltage sulfur hexafluoride circuit breaker is an outdoor-type product. It is suitable for AC 50Hz power grids with a maximum voltage of 252kV in areas where the altitude does not exceed 2000 meters, the ambient temperature is not lower than -30℃, and the pollution level is not higher than Class IV. It is used to interrupt rated current, fault current, or switch lines, realizing control and protection of the power system, and can also be used as an interconnection circuit breaker. The product uses SF₆ gas as the arc-extinguishing and insulating medium, adopts the world's most advanced self-energized arc-extinguishing technology, and is equipped with a new type of spring operating mechanism. It features long electrical life, low operating power, low noise, and high reliability. With a simple structure, small volume, and long maintenance-free period, it can fully replace imported products of the same type in the current trend of oil-free and large-capacity power equipment.

Structural Features

The circuit breaker adopts a three-phase porcelain column-type single-break structure, with each phase equipped with one spring operating mechanism and three-phase electrical interlocking, giving it a novel and exquisite appearance. It uses SF₆ gas as the insulating and arc-extinguishing medium, and a pointer-type density relay is used to monitor its pressure and density in real-time. By adopting the self-energized arc-extinguishing principle and optimizing the design of the circuit breaker's motion system, mechanical efficiency is effectively improved, and operating power is minimized.


  • Excellent breaking performance and long electrical life;

  • Each pole of the product is installed on a mechanism box, which is centrally mounted on the base. The box contains a spring operating mechanism and an electrical control unit, with the output rod of the mechanism connected to the crank arm. The surface of the mechanism box bracket is treated with hot-dip galvanizing, fasteners are hot-dip galvanized, and the outer shell of the mechanism box is made of stainless steel, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance of the product.

  • High mechanical reliability and capability of frequent operation;

  • Due to the inherent high insulation strength of sulfur hexafluoride gas and the optimized contact movement of the circuit breaker, there is no restrike when the circuit breaker interrupts capacitive current;

  • High external insulation level with a large creepage distance design, ensuring excellent pollution resistance;

  • Strong current-carrying capacity: When subjected to a temperature rise test at 1.2 times the rated current of 4000A, the temperature rise at each point still has a large margin;
