The YB6 series prefabricated substations are used in 7.2kV and 12kV ring network power supply, dual power supply or interrupted power supply systems as high - voltage power distribution, metering, compensation, control and protection devices. Inside the prefabricated substation, in addition to the transformer, the high - voltage side is equipped with four - position load switches, two - position load switches, backup protection fuses and plug - in fuses; the low - voltage side is assembled with control electrical appliances, power distribution electrical appliances, compensation devices and electricity meters according to user requirements.

○ The enclosure is designed by referring to excellent foreign technologies and based on actual situations. It has characteristics such as firmness, heat insulation, ventilation, good performance, dust prevention, prevention of small animals, moisture resistance, beautiful appearance, and convenient maintenance. There are various choices for the enclosure materials, such as aluminum alloy plates, steel plates, composite plates, stainless steel plates, non-metallic materials (fiberglass cement), etc.

○ On the high-voltage side, a load switch is generally used, and a vacuum circuit breaker can also be used, and it has complete anti-misoperation functions. For optional configurations, there are ring network switchgear such as XG20 - 12 sulfur hexafluoride ring network cabinets, HXGN15A, HXGN17, etc. The transformer can be an oil-immersed transformer, a fully sealed transformer, or a dry-type transformer.

○ The substation has perfect protection performance, is easy to operate, and high and low voltage metering can be selected. An automatic reactive power compensation device can be equipped according to user requirements.

○ The top cover of the box body is designed as a double-layer structure, and the interlayer is filled with foam plastic, which has good heat insulation. The high and low voltage rooms are designed with independent top plates inside, and the transformer room is equipped with anti-condensation, automatic temperature control monitoring, heating, and cooling devices.

○ The box body adopts natural ventilation, and forced ventilation equipment can also be installed. Dust prevention devices are installed on the outer sides of the door panels and side panels at positions corresponding to the louvers.

Structural Features 

The structure of the American - style box - type transformer is divided into two parts. In the front is the high - and low - voltage operation compartment. The high - voltage compartment includes high - voltage terminals, load switches, no - load tap - changing switches, plug - in fuses, pressure relief valves, oil - temperature gauges, and oil - drain valves. The low - voltage compartment includes low - voltage terminals. The rear part is the oil - filled box body and heat sinks. The transformer core, high - voltage load switch and protective fuses are all in the oil - filled box. 

Performance Features 

● Small volume and compact structure, only about 1/3 of the domestic box - type transformers of the same capacity; 

● Fully sealed and fully insulated, no insulation distance required, reliably ensuring personal safety; 

● Can be used in both ring networks and terminals, with very convenient conversion, improving power supply reliability; low losses, lower than those of domestic S9 - type transformers.
